Scholarships

Statisticians from French-speaking developing countries (see the list of eligible countries in the file liste_officielle.pdf) who submit a communication project in French may apply for a scholarship to cover their registration, travel and accommodation costs (in the case of multiple authors for the communication, only one of the authors may benefit from the scholarship). Applicants must be 35 years of age or younger. Experts from international organizations are not eligible for the scholarship and cumulation with another source of funding is not possible.

The scholarship entitles you to participate in workshops organized in parallel with the conference (Tuesday, October 5, 2021).

To apply for a scholarship, the applicant must, in parallel with the online submission of the (short and long) summary of his/her communication according to the procedure described on the Submission page, send to sondages2020@sciencesconf.org, by May 1, 2021 at the latest, a letter of motivation accompanied by a curriculum vitae, a copy of the long text presenting his/her communication and submitted online, as well as a budget estimate of the transport costs based on documents attesting the level of these costs.

The Scientific Committee will decide on the applications by June 1, 2021.

Under the same conditions of submission, financial support is also possible for French-speaking speakers up to 35 years of age, who reside in a country of the European Union, outside France and Belgium.
